Cross Solution Provider
Drag to rotate the cube. Select the 4 edges that contain White.
Instructions
- Drag the cube to rotate view.
- Click the 4 edges that have a White sticker.
- Click "Solve Cross" to get the optimal solution (max 8 moves).
Quick start (3 minutes)
- Pick a fixed color for 3 solves; then repeat the same scrambles color-neutral.
- Plan all four edges plus final AUF during inspection. No mid-solve re-plans.
- Execute with only U, D, R, F moves when possible. Avoid L/B unless planned.
- On the last cross move, locate one F2L edge or corner. Call it out.
You should finish each rep in under 12 seconds including inspection; reset if you pause.
Inspection map
Lock the base edge
Pick the first edge that sits on D in two moves or less. Freeze that target and plan around it.
Pair two edges
Find two edges that can slot together with an F/R trigger. Avoid dragging solved pieces.
Last edge + AUF
Reserve one move for AUF. Ask: do I finish with D, D', or D2? Call it before you start.
Drills
12-second inspection
Start timer at inspection. If you can't see all four edges + AUF by 12, skip the solve.
One-side only
Plan crosses using only F/R/D/U moves. Forces efficient pairings and fewer rotations.
Lookahead bridge
During the final cross move, name the first F2L edge or corner you will touch.
Scramble replay
Do 3 solves on the same scramble: main color, opposite color, then full color-neutral.
Anchors and examples
F D' F' + D
Great for pairing two edges on the front. Visualize the D' as a setup, not a correction.
R' F R
When an edge is solved on D but flipped, keep F2L slots safe with this quick fix.
Wide U flick
Use a wide U to realign without lifting the thumb. Faster than double flicks for AUF.
